This article shows how to remove a Facebook user from the list of "blocked" profiles, both through the mobile application and from the desktop website.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: iPhone and Android
Step 1. Open Facebook
The application is marked with a dark blue icon inside which there is a white "f"; if you are already logged in to the social network, open the news section of your profile.
If you haven't entered your credentials, type your email address (or mobile number) and password first
Step 2. Tap the ☰ button
On mobile, iPhone is located in the lower right corner of the screen, while on Android devices it is located in the upper right corner.
Step 3. Scroll down the page and tap Settings
You should find this option towards the bottom of the list.
If you are using an Android, skip this step
Step 4. Choose Account Settings
You can see this feature at the top of the pop-up menu (iPhone) or at the bottom of the menu ☰ of Android.
Step 5. Tap Block
It is typically located in the lower portion of the menu and has a red warning circle.
Step 6. Tap the Unblock button which is located to the right of the user's name
On this page you can see the list of people you have blocked in the past and you can choose which ones to remove from the list.
Step 7. When prompted, tap the Unlock button
It is blue and is on the left of the screen; in this way, you unlock the selected user.
If you want to block the person again, you have to wait 48 hours
Method 2 of 2: Windows and Mac
Step 1. Log in to the Facebook website
If you are already logged in, you are presented with the "News" page.
If you are not logged in, you must first enter your email address (or mobile number) and password in the fields at the top right
Step 2. Click on the ▼ button
You can see it at the top right of the window.
Step 3. Select Settings
This option is located towards the bottom of the drop-down menu.
Step 4. Click Block
It is one of the labels located on the left side of the page.
Step 5. Select the Unblock link to the right of the user's name
On this page you can see the list of people you have previously blocked.
Step 6. Choose Confirm when prompted
This unlocks the profile you have selected.
