This wikiHow teaches you how to turn off Safari data sync with iCloud on an iPhone. This way, other devices connected to your iCloud account will not be able to access your browsing and profile data.
Steps
Step 1. Open the "Settings" of the iPhone
The icon is represented by gray gears and is located on one of the Home screens.
It may also be located in the "Utilities" folder on a Home screen
Step 2. Scroll down and tap iCloud
It is located in the fourth group of options.
Step 3. Log into your iCloud account (if needed)
- Enter your Apple ID and password.
- Tap Sign in.
Step 4. Proceed down and slide your finger on the Safari button to disable it
This will stop syncing your browsing data and your account with iCloud. You will not be able to access your browsing history from other devices that are connected to your iCloud account or that have been restored from an iCloud backup.
