This article describes how to find an interesting channel on Telegram and join the conversation using Android.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Telegram channel catalog in a mobile browser
Type tchannels.me in the address bar and tap Enter on the keyboard. This site allows you to see different types of channels, including the most recent and famous ones.
Step 2. Tap Add To next to the channel
Find a channel you want to join and tap the red "Add to" button next to it. You will need to select an application to open it in a new pop-up window.
If you know the name of the channel you want to join, you can tap the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the Telegram conversation list and search for it directly
Step 3. Select Telegram in the pop-up window
Step 4. Tap Always
The chat of this channel will open on Telegram.
- This option allows you to automatically open the Telegram application every time you open a channel link on Android.
- If you select "Only once", you will have to choose an application each time you open a channel link.
Step 5. Tap Join at the bottom of the screen
This button is located at the bottom of the channel conversation; tap on it and you will be added automatically. From now on you will be able to access this channel from the Telegram chat list.
