To join most of the groups on WhatsApp, you need the permission of the administrator, however there are many public access groups. How can these public groups be identified? This article explains how to find them and how to access a WhatsApp group without having received the invitation. The solution is to use some third party applications and websites.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Using an iPhone or iPad
Step 1. Access the App Store by tapping the icon
Normally, it is visible on the Home of the device.
Step 2. Search using the keywords "Groups for WhatsApp"
The "Search" tab is visible at the bottom of the screen. As you enter the words to search for you will see a list of results appear. Using the Groups for WhatsApp app is a very easy way to find public WhatsApp groups without having to search the web. Groups are organized by category and you can join a specific group by simply pressing the "Join" button. The indicated app has no relationship with the WhatsApp platform.

Step 3. Press the Get button
Installing the app on your device will take a few moments.
Step 4. Launch the Groups for WhatsApp - Join now app
It features a yellow and green cartoon icon. You should find it on the Home of the device.
You will be asked to log in with your WhatsApp account. All links you share will be public and can be viewed on the web by other users
Step 5. Search for the group you want to join
You can consult the categories present or the list of the most active groups recently.
Step 6. Press the Join button to join a group
At this point, you will be able to participate in the group chat using your WhatsApp account.
Method 2 of 3: Using Android Devices
Step 1. Access the Google Play Store by tapping the icon
You will find it on the device Home, in the "Applications" panel, or by performing a search.
Step 2. Search using the keywords "groups for joining"
The search bar is located at the top of the screen. As you enter the search words you will see a list of partial search results appear. Groups for joining is a third-party app that allows you to easily locate public groups within WhatsApp without having to resort to using internet searches.

Step 3. Press the Install button
The installation of the program will only take a few moments.
Step 4. Launch the Groups for joining app
It features an icon depicting 4 stylized people arranged in a circle. It should have appeared on your device's Home, in the "Applications" panel, or you can perform a search to find it.
Step 5. Select the group you want to join
You will be redirected to the WhatsApp app with the invitation link to join the chat of the chosen group.
Step 6. Press the Join chat button
It is located at the bottom right of the screen.
Method 3 of 3: Using a Computer
Step 1. Visit the Groupfinder website
This is a site that allows you to join WhatsApp groups using your computer.
Step 2. Click on the name of the group you want to join
All groups are listed by creation date, starting with the most recent. You will be redirected to the WhatsApp website: web.whatsapp.com.
Step 3. Click the Join Group button
In order to have access to your WhatsApp account, you will need to scan the QR code displayed on the WhatsApp website page using your mobile device.
