This wikiHow teaches you how to permanently remove a video from your Timeline and Profile Albums using an iPhone or iPad.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Delete a Video from an Album
Step 1. Open the Facebook application on your iPhone or iPad
The icon is represented by a white "f" in a blue box. You can find it on the Home screen.
Step 2. Log in to your profile page
Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner. It is next to the box "What are you thinking about?" and allows you to open your profile.
Step 3. Scroll down and tap on Photos
This button is located in the options Information And Friends, under your profile picture and your personal data. A page entitled "Photos" will then be opened.
Step 4. Click on the Albums tab on the navigation bar at the top of the screen
Swipe left on the navigation bar at the top of the photo page. Then, click on Album to see the list of all your photo and video collections.
Step 5. Select the Videos album
In this modom the contents of the selected album will be displayed and you will be shown the list of all the videos you have uploaded and published.
Step 6. Select the video you want to delete
The selected video will open in full screen and start playing.
Step 7. Click on the video
This will allow you to see the play / pause button, progress bar and other available buttons at the bottom of the video.
Step 8. Click on the icon with the three dots
This button is located in the lower right corner of the video. A context menu with options associated with the movie will open.
Step 9. Select Delete in the menu
This option is located next to the trash can icon in the menu. Allows you to delete and remove the selected video from the profile.
You will need to confirm the operation in a new pop-up
Step 10. Click Delete in the confirmation pop-up
The operation will be confirmed, thus deleting the selected video. The movie will be removed from the Albums and Journal.
Method 2 of 2: Delete a Post with Video
Step 1. Open the Facebook application on your iPhone or iPad
The icon is represented by a white "f" in a blue box. You can find it on the Home screen.
Step 2. Log in to your profile page
Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner. It is located next to the "What are you thinking about?" Field. This will allow you to open your profile.
Step 3. Scroll down and find the publication you want to delete from the journal
On the diary you can view all your public and private posts. Scroll down the page to find the one you want to delete.
Step 4. Press the three-dot icon next to the post you want to delete
This button is located in the upper right corner of each publication. The available options will appear from the bottom of the screen.
Step 5. Select Delete in the menu
This option will allow you to delete the post from your calendar and profile.
You will need to confirm the operation in a new pop-up
Step 6. Click Delete in the confirmation pop-up
This option is written in red characters and is found in the pop-up menu. It will confirm the operation, removing the selected video from the profile.
