This guide describes how to send a friend or post to your story a snap that you previously saved in your Memories folder or on your phone roll.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Snapchat app
If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the App Store (on iPhone) or the Google Play Store (on Android).
If you are not logged in on Snapchat, press Log in, then enter your username (or email address) and password.
Step 2. Swipe up the camera screen
This will open the Memories folder.
If you've never opened this page, press Ok when you see the "Welcome to Memories!" message, so you can continue. In this case, you won't see any saved snaps, so you'll need to archive some of them before continuing.
Step 3. Press and hold the snap you want to send
This will open the photo options, included Snap Edit, Export Snap and Delete Snap.
- If asked, press Authorize, so that Snapchat can access your camera roll.
- To select several snaps at the same time, press the check symbol in the upper right corner of the screen, then tap on all the photos you want to send.
- If you don't see any saved snaps, you can tap on Roll in the upper right corner of the screen and select a photo from the photos on your phone.
Step 4. Press the white arrow
You will find it directly below the snap you have selected.
- If you want to edit the snap before sending it, press Snap Edit. You will not be able to do this if you have decided to submit multiple photos at a time.
- If you are sending several snaps at the same time, the white arrow will be in the lower right corner of the screen.
Step 5. Click on the names of all the friends you want to send the snap to
Scroll down to find users you talk to less frequently.
You can also press My story at the top of the "Send to …" page.
Step 6. Press the white arrow again
This will send the snap to the friends you have selected!
