Apple's iCloud service has made sharing files between proprietary devices much faster, easier and more convenient. When you purchase a song from iTunes using your iPhone, the purchased content is automatically downloaded to your computer and also to your iPad, if you have one. Let's say you have just taken a wonderful photograph with your iPhone or iPad, and you want to share it using your Windows computer. Are you wondering how to access the image using a computer enabled to use the iCloud service? Simple by continuing to read this guide.
Steps
Step 1. Log in to the web page to download the iCloud Control Panel
To do this, open your favorite internet browser and type the following URL in the address bar: 'https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455?viewlocale=it_IT&locale=it_IT'. You will be directed to the iCloud Control Panel download page for Windows computers.
Step 2. Download the iCloud Control Panel
To do this, press the blue 'Download' button. Then wait for the download to finish.
Step 3. Install the iCloud Control Panel
Select the installation file you downloaded in the previous step, located at the bottom of the browser. This will start the installation procedure.
- If the file does not appear at the bottom of the browser window, look for it in the 'Downloads' folder. After having identified it, select it with a double click of the mouse.
- Wait for the installation wizard to finish. The iCloud Control Panel shortcut icon should appear on the desktop.
Step 4. Launch iCloud
Double-click the icon that appears on your desktop or access the 'Start' menu and select it from here. iCloud will ask you to enter your Apple ID and its login password. Do this using the fields provided by the program.
Step 5. Launch iTunes
After entering your Apple ID login credentials, close the iCloud Control Panel and launch iTunes.
Step 6. Access all your images
To do this, access the 'Computer' icon in the 'Start' menu. A new category will have been added to the 'Computer' window menu: the 'Other' category will have the icon to access the iCloud service inside. Select it with a double click of the mouse to access your images stored on iCloud.
