If your account has been hacked or if you are no longer able to log in, knowing your ID will help Epic Games' customer support staff to resolve the issue much more quickly. This article explains how to trace the ID of an Epic account in order to prove that you are the rightful owner of your account when you need to contact customer service for assistance.
Steps
Step 1. Log into your Epic Games account
Use an internet browser to access the login page. Alternatively, you can log in directly from your console.
To log in, use your Epic Games account email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the link I forgot the password to be able to receive by e-mail the link to the page where you can reset a new password.
Step 2. Go to the settings page
If you are using an internet browser, the link visible in the image will redirect you to your account settings page. If you are using a console or game platform, you will need to go to the menu of your Epic Games account and search for the entry Settings.
If you encounter problems in identifying the settings menu, you will have to start one of the Epic Games games in your possession (for example Fortnite), select a game mode, choose the item Options game and select the gear icon to access the configuration settings. At this point, select the stylized human silhouette icon to envy your account ID.
Step 3. Find your account ID
If you are using a gaming platform, the ID will be shown at the top of the screen, while if you are using an internet browser you will find it in the "Account Information" section.
