This article explains how to trace the identification number of a user (called user ID in jargon) of Facebook.
Steps
Step 1. Visit the website https://www.facebook.com using your computer's internet browser
To be able to trace the user ID of a Facebook user, you must use the browser of any laptop or desktop computer.
Step 2. Log in with your Facebook account
Enter your username and security password in the corresponding text fields, located in the upper right corner of the screen, and click on the button Log in.
Step 3. View the profile page of the person whose user ID you want to find out
Type their name into the search bar at the top of the page or click on the name displayed in your friends list.
Step 4. Select an empty spot on the appeared page with the right mouse button
These are the gray areas that appear on the left and right of the person's profile page. A context menu will be displayed.
If the mouse you are using does not have two buttons, to simulate pressing the right button, hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard while clicking on the indicated point
Step 5. Click on the View Page Source option
The source code of the page will be displayed in a new browser tab.
If the "View Page Source" option is not present, look for a similar entry, for example "View Source" or "Page Sources"
Step 6. Press the key combination Ctrl + F (on Windows) or ⌘ Command + F (on Mac).
A search bar will appear.
Step 7. Type the keyword profile_id into the search field that appears and press the Enter key on your keyboard
On the right of the "profile_id" parameter, highlighted in the source code of the page, you will find the user ID of the person in question.
