This article shows you how to update or change the payment method tied to a Netflix account using the mobile app and through the platform's official website. Read on to find out how.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the Mobile Application
Step 1. Launch the Netflix application
It is characterized by a black icon with one inside No. Red.
If necessary, log in to your account
Step 2. Press the ☰ button located in the upper left corner of the screen
Step 3. Choose the My Account option located at the bottom of the menu that appeared
Step 4. Scroll through the list to locate and select the Update Payment Information link
If you haven't entered a payment method yet, you need to select the link Add payment method.
Step 5. Choose the payment method you want to change
The options available are:
- Credit or debit card;
- PayPal.

Step 6. Enter the updated information for your chosen payment method
To do this, fill in the fields that appear with the required data or follow the instructions on the screen to authorize Netflix to use the payment method you want.
Step 7. At the end of the compilation, scroll down the page to select the item Update payment method
It is located at the end of the current form. At this point the payment method has been successfully updated.
Method 2 of 2: Use the Website from a Computer
Step 1. Launch your internet browser and log into Netflix
Push the button Log in, then enter the email address and password for your account. If automatic login is enabled, you will be redirected directly to the main Netflix profile screen.
Step 2. Click the main profile icon
It is usually characterized by your name.
Step 3. Select the button
It is located in the upper right corner of the window.
Step 4. Choose the My Account option
Step 5. Then click the Update Payment Information link
It is located on the right side of the page, in the "Subscription and Billing" section.
If you haven't entered a payment method yet, you'll need to select the link Add payment method.
Step 6. Choose the payment method you want to change
