This wikiHow teaches you how to pin text to a moving object within a Snapchat video.
Steps
Step 1. Open Snapchat
The app features a white ghost on a yellow background.
If you are not logged in, tap "Log in" to enter your username (or email address) and password
Step 2. Touch and hold the round button located at the bottom of the screen
This will allow you to record a video.
You can record for up to 10 seconds, but you can stop recording earlier by removing your finger
Step 3. Tap anywhere on the screen
A text box will appear.
Step 4. Type your text
Everything you type in the box will appear in the video.
Step 5. Tap the T icon
It's one of the editing options you find at the top right. This will allow you to enlarge the text.
Step 6. Tap the screen to save the text
Step 7. Tap and hold the text
The video will be paused, so you can easily reposition the text. You need to do this while the object you want to attach the text to is in the frame.
Step 8. Drag the text to where you want to insert it
Step 9. Let it go
This will anchor it to a well-defined underlying object.
Step 10. Tap the white arrow to send it
It is located at the bottom right.
You can also tap the box containing a "+" at the bottom of the screen to add the video to your story
Step 11. Tap the names of the friends you want to send the video to
You can tap "My Story" to post the snap in this section as well
Step 12. Tap the white arrow again to send the video you attached the text to
Advice
- Review it once more before sending it, to make sure you have attached the text correctly.
- You can also attach stickers to objects.
