GoGear Vibe is one of the latest MP3 player models made by Philips. It features a 1.5 color display and 4GB of space to hold multimedia files; it also supports multiple audio formats, such as APE, FLAC, MP3, WAV, and WMA. Just like its previous versions, GoGear Vibe it's easy to use: transferring your favorite songs into it is a quick and easy process.
Steps
Step 1. Connect GoGear Vibe to your computer
Take the GoGear Vibe data cable and connect the smaller end to the player. Take the other end of the cable and plug it into any USB port on your computer or laptop.
The data cable is sold with GoGear Vibe at the time of purchase
Step 2. Open Windows Media Player
Open Windows Media Player by double clicking on the program icon on the desktop or in the program list.
Step 3. Wait for Windows Media Player to recognize GoGear Vibe
Once recognized, the mp3 player name will appear in the right panel of Windows Media Player.

Step 4. Go to the folder where there are the files you want to upload to your GoGear Vibe
If you don't know where your music files are, click the Start button at the bottom right of the screen and select "Music" from the list to open the default audio file folder.
Step 5. Choose the audio files to upload to your GoGear Vibe
Select and highlight all files you want to copy to GoGear Vibe.
- If you want to copy only 1 file, click on it to select and highlight it.
- If you want to copy several files, hold down the Ctrl (for Windows) or Cmd (for Mac) key on your keyboard while clicking on the files you want to copy, so that all of them are highlighted.
Step 6. Drag the files to Windows Media Player
Move files to the right side panel of Windows Media Player. All selected music files will then be listed in this section.
Step 7. Start copying
Click the "Start Sync" button located at the bottom of the Windows Media Player right side panel to start copying the selected files to your GoGear Vibe.
The progress bar located at the top of the menu will show you when the sync is complete
Step 8. Disconnect GoGear Vibe from the computer
Click on the safe remove icon (shaped like a green arrow) located at the bottom right of the computer interface (on the right of the toolbar, next to the clock) to safely disconnect GoGear Vibe from your computer.
If you are using a Mac, simply right click on the GoGear Vibe desktop icon and select "Eject" from the pop-up menu to safely disconnect your device
Step 9. Listen to your music
Enjoy the songs you just played on your GoGear Vibe.
Advice
- Before transferring any music files to GoGear Vibe, charge it for at least 2–3 hours or until the battery is fully charged to ensure that the device has enough power not to be interrupted during the transfer process.
- Using the same procedure, you can also pass video files and music files purchased through iTunes.
