Use the camera to record the sound you want to use on TikTok. Press the "+" button, record or upload a video, then press Come on or on the check mark. Edit the video and then click on Publish to load it.

  • TikTok videos can only be uploaded if no music is added. If your profile photo is in place of the album cover, then the video has no music.
  • If TikTok can identify the music, the video will be categorized along with other movies that contain the same song, and you will not be able to name the audio.
  • When you upload a video / audio file, you should make it private. That way other users won't be able to see what you're working on until you're done.

Step 3. Click on the profile icon

This option is located next to the file name at the top of the screen. The default audio name is "original sound - [your profile name]".

This pink box is located in the upper right corner. A confirmation pop-up will appear in the center of the screen.
