This wikiHow teaches you how to save "Memories" snaps to your device's image gallery.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using an iPhone or iPad
Step 1. Open Snapchat
The icon depicts a white ghost on a yellow background.
If you are not logged in automatically, enter your username and password
Step 2. Tap the "Memories" button
It is represented by a white circle which is located under the "Capture" button at the bottom of the screen. Tap it to open the "Memories" page.
Step 3. Tap and hold a snap
A menu will appear from the bottom of the screen containing the following options: "Edit Snap", "Export Snap", "For My Eyes Only" or "Delete Snap".
Step 4. Tap Export Snap
An iOS menu will appear from the bottom of the screen.
Step 5. Tap Save Image
A notification containing "Saved!" Will appear at the top of the screen. At this point the snap will have been saved in the image gallery of the device.
Method 2 of 2: Using Android
Step 1. Open Snapchat
The icon depicts a white ghost on a yellow background.
If you don't log in automatically, enter your username and password
Step 2. Tap the "Memories" button
It is a white circle located under the "Capture" button at the bottom of the screen. Tapping it will open the "Memories" page.
Step 3. Tap and hold a snap
From the bottom of the screen a menu will appear with the following options: "Edit Snap", "Save it to Camera Roll", "For My Eyes Only" or "Delete Snap".
Step 4. Tap Save to Camera Roll
The snap will then be saved in the device's image gallery.
