Do you love Pokémon? Then chances are you've already tried drawing the characters! In this article, you'll find out how to draw a cuddly, much-loved and easy-to-make Pokémon from Kanto: Jigglypuff!
Steps
Step 1. Draw a large circle to make the shape of the Jigglypuff's body and head
Step 2. Erase the top of the circle (corresponding to the head) and draw the characteristic Jigglypuff tuft
Imagine it's some kind of big G, only the top goes slightly curved.
Step 3. On the left side of the tuft, draw an inverted V to create an ear
Draw an inverted V on the right side as well, but tilt it slightly to the right.
Step 4. Erase a small portion of the central area of the left circle and draw a small V on the bias
Make sure the pointed end is facing out. This way you will get the first upper paw.
Step 5. Draw another small inverted V inside each ear
Step 6. At the bottom of the circle draw small ovals on both sides by angling them slightly
This way you will get the lower legs.
Step 7. Draw a normal V above the right lower paw to get the second upper paw
Step 8. Draw the eyes on the right and left side of the tuft
Draw a medium-sized circle and a smaller circle inside it. In the smaller circle draw an even smaller one to get the pupil.
Step 9. Under the eyes draw a small curved line to get the mouth and make the Jigglypuff have a smiley face
Step 10. Color in Jigglypuff
Step 11. Add shadows to create a contrast with the points where the light is reflected
Step 12. Add reflections to the parts of the design where the light is reflected
Step 13. Done
Advice
- Try to trace the outline of a round object to get a perfect circle.
- When you color your eyes, leave the part that should be white intact.
