Advice
- Once the add-on has been copied, the path should look like this: C: / Program Files / World of Warcraft / Interface / Addons / FolderName / AddonFile (s).lua
- There are many sites where you can download add-ons for free.
- Some add-ons have built-in applications that allow you to configure them automatically. Just specify the download folder of the add-on and the application will set it up for you. An example of this type of add-on is Nubun's Alliance Guide.
- In some cases, you will see "Out of date" next to the add-on name. In this case, be sure to check the "Load outdated add-ons" option. If you don't, the add-on will not be available in game.
- Once the files have been extracted, make sure they are in this format: FolderName / addonfile.lua
