A GM, or game master, is a figure who performs a guiding function within a video game and who therefore has the responsibility of enforcing the rules, making sure that everything works for the best. GMs can be found in multiplayer games, especially RPGs like World of Warcraft. Not everyone can become a game master, but if you are considering doing this in World of Warcraft, here are some tips that may help you.
Steps
Step 1. Remember that being a game master is a REAL job
First of all it is important to know that the game master is a concrete job. As fun as it may sound, becoming a GM is a full-time office job. You can't instantly become a GM just because you've been playing something for months. Knowing a video game is not enough to be a GM.
Step 2. Meet the basic requirements
Check if you meet the main requirements:
- Since this is an office job, you must be at least 18 years old before you can apply and possibly be hired by Blizzard Entertainment.
- Since you will have to communicate online with players, you need an excellent ability to relate to customers. Some aspects of this job require a degree or at least a certification, but in any case knowing the ideas behind the game and its rules and mechanics is much more important.
- World of Warcraft is a game open to players from all over the world, so knowing how to speak a second language can help, especially if asked for in the job description.
- Keep in mind that the requirements for a GM position may change depending on the company's demands, so be sure to read the description carefully before applying.
Step 3. Create your resume
Write a resume that highlights your skills, knowledge and interest in the game. If you have had any previous experience in customer management, please specify it.
You must write your application in English, but if the job requires knowledge of a second language it is advisable to create specific resumes in each language

Step 5. Wait for Blizzard to contact you
If you are selected for the job, Blizzard will contact you to ask for more details and, in all likelihood, to arrange an interview.
If you pass all the preliminary assessments you can become a full-time WoW game master
