Simulating in football is the action of faking a foul or injury. Those who support this technique call it a strategy, its detractors consider it incorrect (as do the players who practice it), but all professional players know how to capture the referee's attention (and whistles).
Steps
Step 1. Make sure you don't think about your dignity
You won't need it.
Step 2. Make sure you are close to an opposing player
Simulating without anyone around will only make you ridiculous.
Step 3. Dive at the right time
Although it is possible to simulate without contact, making the movement realistic would be very difficult. The most effective simulations are those that exaggerate a true contrast, making a regular surgery look like a phallus.
Step 4. Go ashore
To simulate you will have to fall to the ground, however you like. However, make sure that it is a movement consistent with the type of phallus you are simulating. If you are faking a trip, fall forward. For a shoulder-to-shoulder fight, drop sideways. To simulate a hold from behind, drop onto your lower back.
Step 5. Simulate an injury
Just imitate the pros - hold one leg in your hands and roll in pain. Again, make sure the fake injury is consistent with the foul and fall. If you have undergone sliding surgery, keep your leg; if you want to simulate an elbow in the face, put your hands on your nose.
Step 6. When the referee makes his decision, stand up, limp for a few minutes (if you have simulated a leg injury) and resume playing
Step 7. There are three main types of dives in football, the goalkeeper, the slide and the angel's flight
-
In the goalie dive you will have to squat down and then reach out and fall to the side, extending your arms as if to stop the ball.
-
For the slide, be sure to proceed at good speed, then lean back (as if to fall onto your backside) and turn your body sideways as you begin to slide. This dive is best when the ground is muddy.
- For the flight of an angel, jump into the air as if you were trying to hit your head, then harden your legs and keep your arms straight on your hips as you rotate your body 180 ° sideways in the air and fall directly on your head. The flight of the angel is particularly useful during corner kicks.
Advice
- The most effective simulations are those that exaggerate a real phallus. If you are pushed lightly, you fall as if you have been pushed hard. This is not a real simulation, because you are just making a foul you have suffered more evident. This strategy is particularly useful in the penalty area.
- If the referee does not stop play following your play, do not protest. It is a bad idea to protest if the referee has just seen your simulation.
- Previous theater or acting experience may be helpful.
- Practice simulating different types of fouls before trying to do it in front of a referee.
Warnings
- Simulations are considered unsportsmanlike tactics, and are subject to a yellow card. Also, if you build your reputation as a simulator, referees will be less likely to whistle even the real fouls you suffer.
- Simulating is incorrect. It ruins the spirit of the game and fair play.
- It is possible to get injured by simulating.
- By simulating you can fool the referee, but not the players. Especially if you provoke a red card thanks to your simulation, expect to receive a real bad foul in the rest of the game.
- Do not dive if you are not a goalkeeper or if you do not have to slide. It is not the right thing to do.
