Keeping your phone number private allows you to avoid return calls and prevent information from being stored about us. It is possible to make anonymous calls on both landline and mobile phones. Read this guide and find out how.
Steps
Step 1. Pick up the handset
If you're using a smartphone, open the numeric keypad. If you use a landline phone, wait until you hear the ring.
Step 2. Enter the lock code
By using the blocking code you will block the transmission of information that can identify the phone call. This code must be entered before any anonymous phone call. The code works for both landline and mobile phones. If you do not enter the code, the call will not be anonymous.

Step 3. Call the phone number
Include the country code if it's a long distance call. Your call will be made normally, but on the handset the number will be displayed as “Unknown”, “Blocked” or “Private”.
Step 4. Set up a permanent block
You can make sure that your calls are always anonymous. To do this, you will need to contact your telephone company and ask for the activation of the anonymous call service.

Step 5. Disable the sending of call information on the iPhone
If you use iPhone, you can disable the sending of caller information in the Settings menu. Open the Settings menu on your home screen.
- Tap on Settings -> Phone -> Disable "Show Caller ID".
- Not available on all services. For example, Verizon phones do not have this option.
Step 6. Use Google Voice
Google Voice allows you to forward all your calls through an anonymous number. You can use this number to hide your real phone number from anyone you want. Read to set it up
