Edgar's Chainsaw is one of his most powerful weapons. He is capable of dealing severe damage to an enemy and has a 25% chance of killing them instantly; however, the riddle that must be solved to obtain it is rather complicated.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Finding the Clock in Zozo
Step 1. Tuck under the metal beams
Go left next to the bar. You will need to complete this step the first time you go to Zozo.
Step 2. Take the first turn near the bar
Keep walking until you see the inn.
Step 3. Enter the inn
You will see a clock that needs to be adjusted. Not knowing what time it is, you will have to go back to the city and ask for information.
Method 2 of 3: Looking for Clues
The city of Zozo is notorious for the lies its inhabitants usually tell. They will even lie about the time: for this reason it will be important to carry out an accurate analysis process, in order to determine the exact time.
Step 1. Head towards the house on the lower left of the bar
Talk to the man behind the counter, he will tell you that there is definitely no girl on the roof of the building.
Step 2. Go up the stairs to get to the second floor
You will see a line of men making their way to the next room; talk to each of them and take note of the times that are reported to you.
Step 3. Go to the back of Zozo's largest tower
You will be able to enter another house where you will find a man behind a counter; talk to him, he will tell you that his watch does not have a minute hand and that it always indicates the wrong time.
Step 4. Approach the clock in the room and examine it
Your character will comment that it's 2 o'clock.
Step 5. Go to the top of the tower
You will see a man: talk to him. It will tell you that the seconds are divisible by 20: take note.
Step 6. Go to the bar located near the Zozo entrance
Talk to the owner, he will tell you that the second hand marks 30.
Method 3 of 3: Get the Chainsaw
Step 1. Examine the clock once more
Return to the inn and check the clock. Now that you have collected all the clues you need to solve the puzzle, it's time to open the door and gain access to the clock.
Step 2. Enter 6:
00 when the clock will ask you for the time.
When you asked the group of men in the first house for the time, they answered "2:00", "12:00", "4:00", "8:00", and "10:00". The number pattern provided proceeds by increasing by two hours at a time. With this detail in mind, it will become clear that a number is missing from the pattern, namely "6:00". Enter the number in the clock.
Step 3. Enter 10:
00 for the minutes.
The man behind the tower told you that his watch does not have a minute hand and that it always marks the wrong time. Since he was lying, it is possible to assume that the clock indicating 2 o'clock was correct; since 2 is also 10 minutes, the answer will be 10:00.
Step 4. Enter 50 for the seconds
This step is a bit more difficult; you already know that this is not a number divisible by 20, considering the statement of the man on the tower, which eliminates 20, 40 and 60.
- Another man told you that the second hand marks 30, but since he was lying, we can rule out this number. Only 10 or 50 left.
- Try both numbers and see which one works. In this case, 50 is the number we were looking for.
- By entering "6:10:50" in the clock, a part of the wall on the right of the room will open. Climb the stairs and open the chest to receive Edgar's Chainsaw.
Advice
- It is not necessary to speak to all the inhabitants of the city; you can simply enter "6:10:50" to have the door open.
- In Zozo you will be constantly attacked by enemies, so be on your guard.
