Final exams are important… they usually determine the bulk of your grade. It's easy to worry, so use these tips to relax during the hours and minutes before the exam.
Steps
Step 1. Start the night before
If you haven't done so yet, write some notes. It will serve as a reminder of what you talked about in class and you will have all the information you need together so you can study easily.
Step 2. Take a hot shower
If possible, a foamy bath is better. The goal is to relax.
Step 3. Review again using your notes
Read them aloud to one of your parents or even by talking on the wall if there is no one to listen to you.
Step 4. Use clear polish to color your nails
It is optional. When you take the exam, look at your nails and they will remind you to breathe.
Step 5. Choose something to wear that reminds you to relax
It could be a necklace or bracelet, or a bottle stopper in your pocket. Remember to take it with you to the exam.
Step 6. Eat a snack while reviewing your notes again
Eat a healthy snack.
Step 7. Watch a funny broadcast on TV, Hulu or Youtube video
It will serve to take your mind off the exam. There is no need to worry. Everything will be OK.
Step 8. Go to bed 15 minutes early
Your brain will function better if well rested.
Step 9. Get up 15 minutes earlier and do your normal morning routine
When you're ready, go over again using your notes and take a 15-minute nap. Remember to set an alarm or you may not get up.
Step 10. Go to the building where the exam will take place, arrive 5 minutes early and walk around
Tell yourself that with each step you take you are getting closer and closer to calm.
Step 11. Take a deep breath and go to class
Tell yourself that you will take a good exam and that you have studied enough. If you panic, look at your nails and breathe. Good luck!

- Don't get distracted easily. It will only serve to forget the notes.
- If you have time, do some deep breathing.
- Imagine that stress is something concrete, "put it aside" in a closet or in a shoe box and tell him that he cannot come with you to class.
