If you've bought a Toyota Prius and, oops, suddenly forgot how to turn it on (with or without the ignition key), this article can save you the embarrassment of calling the dealer and asking them, again, how to turn it on.
Steps
Step 1. Sit in the driver's seat
The most comfortable position to start the car engine is when you are perfectly seated on the seat.
Step 2. Insert the key into the ignition, with the side with the button facing the roof of the car, but without turning it as in a normal ignition
Step 3. Press and hold the brake pedal with your right foot
The car will not start if the brake pedal is not pressed firmly.
Step 4. Tap the "Power" button to start the vehicle
The Ready light on the dashboard will illuminate to alert you that the car is ready to go.
