Acting as a model daughter during the adolescent period is not easy and being able to overcome difficulties without affecting one's life is a victory.
Steps
Step 1. Think about your future
Remember that at this stage of life you have to find out who you want to become and what you want to do when you grow up. You could take many paths and now is the time to reflect.
Step 2. Try to find out what your interests and inclinations are
It does not matter whether it is a sport practiced at a competitive level, of reading, playing a musical instrument, acting or drawing, find an interest that you really like and cultivate it. You could do it with your usual friends or find others.
Step 3. Find an example to follow
It doesn't necessarily have to be a celebrity, but simply someone who inspires you, even a family member or friend, who excels at what they do. Try to emulate it and find the motivation to improve.
Step 4. Practice extracurricular activities and volunteer
When you help others, you feel better about yourself. Always commit and do more than you should to develop your full potential.
Step 5. Challenge yourself
Set personal goals and work towards achieving them. Write them down and constantly evaluate your progress.
Step 6. Walk and move gracefully
Be confident! If you believe in yourself, others will believe in you too.
Step 7. Try to be optimistic
Without optimism, you will not go anywhere. Not all evils come to harm. Look on the bright side of all things and you will be happier.
Step 8. Don't be disheartened by what others say
Surround yourself with people who support and encourage you.
Step 9. Take care of your personal hygiene and your appearance to show people that you know how to take care of yourself and to make a better impression
Step 10. Don't worry about parental frustrations
It is natural for them to worry and be overprotective when their children are teenagers. Your parents may seem exaggerated, but they do it for your good anyway.
Step 11. Don't overstep the boundaries
Show your parents that you know how to compromise and they will trust you. Arguing with your parents helps you grow, but find the best way to reason with them and not be stubborn, so as not to give them reason not to give you what you want.
Step 12. Keep them informed
If you have the latest issue of the school newspaper, lend it to them so they can read it. If an interesting episode happens at school, share it with them (even if it's the new friend you think is cute). They like to know about these things and are happy to be involved in your life.
Step 13. Make new friends
They could become friends you can keep in touch with for the rest of your life.
