This wikiHow teaches you how to format text in Google Docs using a PC or Mac to insert a superscript or subscript - characters that are smaller than the baseline in size. The procedure to follow is the same for both operating systems.
Steps
Step 1. Open Google Docs on your computer
You can visit the Google Docs website with the browser you usually use.
Make sure you are logged in to use your account
Step 2. Click on a document to open it
You can open a new or existing one.
Step 3. Select the numbers of the document you want to shrink
After selecting them, they should appear highlighted in blue.
Step 4. Click the Format button
It is located on the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
Step 5. Click on the Text option in the "Format" menu
It should be at the top of the drop-down menu.
Step 6. Select "Superscript" or "Subscript" from the drop-down menu
