This wikiHow teaches you how to insert multiple lines at a time on Google Sheets using the desktop website.
Steps
Step 1. Go to https://sheets.google.com in a browser
If you are logged in, the list of Google Sheets documents associated with your account will open.
Log into your Google account if login doesn't happen automatically
Step 2. Click on the Google Sheets document you want to open

to create a new worksheet.
Step 3. Select the row that is above or below where you want to insert more rows
Select the row by clicking on the number located in the gray column on the left.
Step 4. Press ⇧ Shift and select the number of lines you want to insert
For example, if you want to insert four new lines, you will need to select them above or below where you want to insert them.
Step 5. Click on the selected lines with the right mouse button
Click on any of the selected lines with the right mouse button. A drop-down menu will open.
On a Mac, you can click on the trackpad or magic mouse with two fingers or hold down Control and click
Step 6. Click Insert # above or Enter # below.
Instead of # the number of lines you have selected should appear. This will insert the same number of lines above or below the ones you selected.
