This article explains how to disable the "OK Google" feature on Android phones. "OK Google" is an assistant that allows you to ask questions or give voice commands. You can turn it off and still use Google's voice commands, although in this case you'll need to press a button to manually activate Google's voice assistant.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Google application
The icon looks like a colored G on a white background.
Step 2. Tap ☰
This icon is located at the bottom right.
Step 3. Tap
Tap "Settings", located in the second group of options next to a gear icon.
Step 4. Scroll down and tap Voice
This option is located more or less in the center of the page in the "Search" section.
Step 5. Tap Voice Match
It is the second option in the "Voice" menu.
Step 6. Tap the "Sign in with Voice Match" button to disable it
