This manicure appears to be fake, but it's not - you can easily make it yourself!
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Marble Water Method
Step 1. Apply the base (any light or white color is fine) and let it dry
Step 2. Apply oil or scotch tape around the nail
Make sure that the tape does not touch the nail otherwise the application of the nail polish will be compromised.
Step 3. Fill a bowl with room temperature water
Use an old bowl as it will be stained with nail polish.
Step 4. Use 3 or more nail polishes of different colors and add 2 drops of each color
This step must be done quickly because the glaze could dry on the surface of the water, ruining the effect
Step 5. Blend the glazes together gently with the help of a stick or toothpick
Gently touch the surface if you break it and move the color with the toothpick.
Step 6. Dip your fingers into the bowl
If this is your first time, do it one finger at a time. Leave your finger immersed for a few seconds to make sure that the polish adheres to the entire nail.
If you do one finger at a time, there is no need to use a lot of nail polish
Step 7. After removing your fingers from the bowl, allow them to dry thoroughly
Step 8. When the nails are dry apply a coat of top coat
Step 9. Finished
Method 2 of 2: Toothpick Method
Step 1. Apply the tape around the nails and apply a clear base
Step 2. Apply white nail polish as a base to bring out the colors that will be applied later
Step 3. Apply a small circle on the nail with the first color
The circle must be wet and thick enough to blend and blend with other colors.
Step 4. Apply another color around the circle you just made
Again, apply enough nail polish so that you can blend it in, but be careful not to smudge it.
Step 5. Continue applying different colors until you have filled the nail and have different colors
Step 6. Take a toothpick and place the tip in the center of the first color you applied
Move the toothpick outwards in a straight line. Now you can mix colors!
Step 7. When you are done with the design, remove the scotch tape and clean the cuticles
Step 8. Wait for the polish to dry, then apply the top coat to make the manicure last longer
Step 9. Finished
Advice
- Before applying the base it is also recommended to use a top coat to protect the nails.
- Don't use too much acetone. It will ruin everything.
- When choosing nail polish avoid selecting colors from the same family (ex: blue and purple), unless they are very different. Some suggested combinations are: light pink and dark yellow, silver and purple, black and white, neon colors, light blue and dark yellow. Experiment!
- This style is also great for toenails in the summer.
