The game of Russian roulette with eggs is very simple, but incredibly fun. In practice, it is played with six eggs: five hard-boiled and only one still raw. In turn, the players have to hit each other's head with an egg and the "winner" of the prize is the one who breaks the raw one on himself, getting dirty and arousing the laughter of his teammates.
Steps
Step 1. Decide how many eggs to use
Generally six are used, the same number of bullets present in the drum of the pistol used for Russian roulette. However, you can vary the amount based on the number of people playing. However it is better not to use too many otherwise the tension will drop, if necessary it is better to divide the participants into two groups.
Step 2. Cook five eggs in boiling water, leaving only one raw
Once they're ready, put all six of them in the refrigerator to chill, so it's impossible to tell which ones are hard.
Step 3. When the eggs have cooled, place them on a plate inside six egg cups
Alternatively, you can use the cardboard they were in when you bought them.
Step 4. Line up the competitors
Ask them in what order they want to proceed or set the rules yourself if it makes the game even more fun. Each player will have to go to the table on which the eggs are resting and choose one. At this point he will have to use it to hit his forehead and find out if he chose the raw one.
- Before starting, explain to the players that breaking a hard-boiled egg on the forehead could be painful!
- Also ask participants to avoid examining the eggs too deeply. They will have to choose simply by looking at them and, once the decision is made, they will not be able to change their mind and refrain from hitting their foreheads, even if they suspect that it is the raw one.
Step 5. Wait to find out who will take the offending egg
Have some tissues and wipes ready.
Step 6. Award a prize
It is not pleasant to find yourself with a raw egg dripping down your face, so it is important to reserve a reward for the unfortunate "winner". It should be something so pleasant that all the other participants will envy.
Advice
- Prepare an old towel or apron to protect the players' clothes when it's their turn.
- Arrange some newspaper on the floor before you start playing. If possible, organize the challenge outdoors so as not to risk dirtying valuable surfaces.
- You can create eggshell designs to encourage participants to choose one over another, with the aim of making the game even more fun.
- The first player could pick the raw egg right away, so it's best to prepare several batches of eggs to increase the likelihood that the fun will last a long time. You can also organize a playoff or continue playing with the same number of hard-boiled eggs as compared to raw ones until there is only one winner left.
Warnings
- Make sure the eggs are very fresh. There is no excuse to upset a guest with a spoiled egg.
- Since hitting your forehead with a hard-boiled egg could be painful, while hitting your forehead with a raw egg could cause quite a mess, make sure all participants are aware of the possible consequences. Do not force anyone to play and avoid proposing the game to children because they could get hurt by hitting themselves with hard-boiled eggs.
