If you have a broken finger or your computer keyboard no longer works, you can still create digital documents using Microsoft Office and the instructions in this article.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Mac
Step 1. Access system preferences
Step 2. Go to the "Dictation and Voice" section
Step 3. Select "Enable Dictation"
Step 4. Open a Microsoft Word document
Step 5. Press the "Function" (fn) key twice
Step 6. Start dictating your text
Method 2 of 2: Windows
Step 1. Right click anywhere on the desktop
Step 2. Select "Customize"
Step 3. Click on "Control Panel"
Step 4. Select "Accessibility" and click on "Start Speech Recognition"
Step 5. Follow the guided instructions
When done, open a Microsoft Word document.
Step 6. Click on the microphone icon located at the top of the screen
Start dictating.

- If you use a Mac computer, know that the dictation function "gets used" to your voice.
