Stretch marks can occur when the skin is stretched or pulled, and this can happen as you grow or put on weight quickly. The skin is naturally quite elastic, but when it is stretched too much, the normal production of collagen (the protein that makes up the connective tissue of your skin) is disrupted. Therefore, scars called stretch marks are formed.
Steps
Step 1. Observe them
At first, stretch marks may appear as pinkish-red lines with jagged edges, and the skin surrounding them may have a different texture.
Step 2. Don't worry, they won't last forever
Fortunately, stretch marks lighten and almost disappear over time. But the fact that they can disappear over time is of little consolation, especially if you plan to spend the whole summer in costume.
Step 3. Stretch marks are a very normal thing
During puberty many people develop stretch marks, there is no need to worry, except that some find them unsightly.
Step 4. To make stretch marks fade faster, apply coconut butter, shea butter, vitamin E, organic oils and other moisturizing agents
You can buy these products from pharmacies or specialist body care stores.
Step 5. Try an artificial tan
Some people find that artificial tanning treatments (both over-the-counter lotions and sprays and treatments in beauty salons) can help hide the signs of stretch marks.
Step 6. Find out what the alternatives are
Doctors use various types of treatments - from actual surgical techniques such as microdermabrasion and laser treatments - that reduce the signs of stretch marks.
Step 7. Improve blood circulation
It improves blood circulation in the affected area and cell turnover. This increases the speed of healing and helps to fade the signs over time.
- Stretch and exercise every day. Exercise, in addition to being good for health in general, promotes cell regeneration.
- Massage the affected area daily to help blood flow. Use an exfoliating product or scub salt to help with circulation
Step 8. Hydrate your body
Drink plenty of water and eat food (e.g. fruit) with a high water content. Try not to drink too much coffee or substances that are high in iodine which instead promote water retention.
