This article explains how to change the graphic theme of your Nintendo Switch. You can choose from classic black and white themes simply by using the Settings menu. Nintendo does not currently offer additional themes for the Switch console that can be purchased or downloaded. It is very likely that this feature will be made available at a later date.
Steps
Step 1. Turn on your Nintendo Switch
Press the "Power" button located at the top left of the console. This is a round button with a circular icon intersected at the top by a small segment. You will find it next to the keys to adjust the volume.
Step 2. Press the Home button
It features a stylized house icon and is located on the right controller of the Switch. You will be redirected to the dashboard home screen.
Step 3. Select the gear icon
The Nintendo Switch system settings menu will appear.
To select an element of the Nintendo Switch GUI, you can choose to use the touchscreen, double tapping it with your finger, or you can use the console's left controller to navigate the menu and press the button TO on the right controller to select the desired option.
Step 4. Select the Themes item
It is the eleventh option in the "System Settings" menu. All the items of the menu in question are displayed in the left pane.
Step 5. Choose the White theme or Black.
For the moment these are the only two themes available to customize your Nintendo Switch. The ability to purchase or download new themes will most likely be introduced at a later date. Remember to regularly update the console firmware (the operating system), so that you can access all the new features that will be introduced over time.
