Getting Pikachu by playing Emerald Pokeomn is not that difficult. However, you must be able to log into the Safari Zone. This tutorial shows you how.
Steps
Step 1. Enter the Safari Zone by taking Route 121 north
Step 2. Capture a male Pikachu and a female Pikachu
To do this, head to the first grassy patch you come across heading west.
Step 3. Deposit the two adult Pikachu inside the 'Pokemon Board', located west of 'Cyclamen City'
Step 4. Return to retirement at a later time
You will meet the elderly owner, talk to him, he will deliver you an egg.
Step 5. When the egg hatches, you will get your Pikachu
Advice
- While you wait for the egg to hatch, add pokemon to your team who know the abilities 'Fire Body' and 'Magmascudo', also use your bicycle to travel back and forth along the road that connects the beach to the town of Mentania.
- If you want your Pikachu to know the 'Volt Tackle' move, you need to get an egg from an adult Pikachu that knows the 'Electric Ball' move.
- If you don't want to have too many Pikachu on your team, when you have enough eggs, leave them free, otherwise you could end up with up to 60 useless Pikachu.
