Steps
Method 1 of 3: Take advantage of Microsoft Office Shortcuts
Use key combinations to type accents in a Microsoft Office for Windows program.

Step 1. To write accented vowels:
press Ctrl + 'and then the vowel (Ctrl +' + a = á).

Step 2. To type Ñ:
press the Ctrl + ~ key followed by the letter n (Ctrl + ~ + n = ñ).
Method 2 of 3: Use the ASCII code

Step 1. Make sure you have the right tools
These codes only work if your computer has a numeric keypad or an external keyboard connected via USB cable.

Step 2. Enter the correct code
Each alphanumeric character is defined by a code that can be selected by pressing the alt="Image" key and a three-digit number. Below is the list of codes:
- á = Alt + 0225;
- é = Alt + 00233;
- í = Alt + 00237;
- ó = Alt + 00243;
- ú = Alt + 00250;
- ñ = Alt + 00241;
- ü = Alt + 00252;
- ¡= Alt + 00161;
- ¿= Alt + 00191.
Method 3 of 3: Using the Character Map
If you're not using Microsoft Office, you need to take advantage of the character map to copy certain letters

Step 1. Open the character map by clicking on the "Start" or "Start" button
