Apple's iPod Nano has a battery life of 9-12 hours. To recharge it, just connect it to the computer or, using the appropriate adapter, to the wall socket.

Method 1 of 2: Charge the iPod with the Computer
Step 1. Find a USB cable
The cable is included in the iPod Nano package. If you lose the cable, you can buy it back at Apple.com or purchase a generic cable at an electronics store.
The iPod Nano of the first through the third generation are supplied with a Firewire cable, which can also be used for charging the battery. Your computer must have a Firewire port with more than 4 pins

- If you are using the newer models (5th generation) and newer Apple computers, you can buy a lightning - 30 pin cable. Apple reports that the new lightning ports load faster than USB ports.
- Even if you don't use your iPod regularly, you'll still need to charge it once a month. Even when not in use, the iPod consumes battery.
- The optimal operating temperature of iPod batteries is 0-35 ° C. So keep it at room temperature.
