Mosaic warts are among the most persistent warts. Here's how to get rid of them.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Method One: Soak in English Salt
Step 1. Soak the wart in English salt (magnesium sulfate) every five days until softened
Step 2. Smooth the wart with a nail file until you have removed the most superficial layer of skin or until the wart has started bleeding
Step 3. Put duct tape on the wart
Do not remove the tape before five days have passed. If the wart is exposed to the air for too long you will be stung and wrapped.
Step 4. Repeat the three steps
Method 2 of 3: Method Two: Soak in Water
Step 1. Dip your hand in the bath until the wart becomes extremely soft and sensitive
Step 2. File the wart until it reaches the same level as the skin
Step 3. Apply bleach where the wart was
Method 3 of 3: Method Three: Use Strips to Remove Warts
Step 1. Buy DrScholl Freeze Verruca Strips
Step 2. Follow the instructions on the back of the package
Step 3. After doing the treatment three times, file the wart with a nail file until it reaches the same level as the skin
Advice
- Always apply bleach after you have removed the wart, as it kills it at the root.
- If none of these methods work, leave it alone. Warts have a limited life and sooner or later die. For some it is true but there are also those who have had them for years and have tried everything, even to leave them alone for 3 years and therefore recommend that you always try removal treatments.
- Continue the treatments until the root comes out. The root of the wart is a white filamentous substance. Once the root is out, the wart cannot come back.
