Ever wanted to have cute babies in The Sims 2? Now you can! Follow this simple "guide to love", and you'll have hordes of brats in no time!

Steps

Step 1. Find two adult sims of opposite genders

This is a mandatory requirement, unless you have mods installed that allow you to have same-sex children. The two sims you have chosen must also have a high relationship level in the "love" category.

Step 2. Have both sims "relax" in a double bed

You won't be able to take any action until they start talking to each other in bed.

Step 3. Click on one of the sims and choose "Cuddle"

Then you will have to make them kiss and flirt. These last two actions aren't mandatory, but the odds can increase if you do.

Step 4. Click on the sims again and find "Try to have a baby"

If the option isn't there, you may need to push up their relationship score.

Step 5. Listen to "Rock-a-bye Baby" right after your sims "woohoo"

This will tell you that your sim is pregnant.

Method 1 of 2: Alien Child

Step 1. Buy the most expensive telescope

Step 2. Have your male sim observe the stars (at night of course) with the telescope

Step 3. Eventually your sim will be abducted by aliens

This may take some time, so you will need to be patient.

Step 4. Your sim will now be "pregnant" with a cute alien baby

Step 5. Alternatively, you can use a trick if you don't have enough patience

Save and return to the neighborhood, then open the cheat console (using ctrl + shift + c) and type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, then return to the house. Then, select the sim you want to kidnap and shift-click on the telescope, then select "get kidnapped"

Method 2 of 2: Pregnancy Tricks

• Press "Control" + "Shift" + "C" at the same time.

  • boolprop testingcheatsenabled true will allow you to right click on a sim and create a "tombstone of life and death" which will allow you to force a pregnancy on a sim. This stone also has the option to accelerate pregnancy.
  • Forcetwins will allow you to have twins.
  • Maxmotives will bring the sim bar to green.
  • Motivedecay off will eliminate the decline in your sim's needs.

  Advice

  • There is a 10% chance of a natural birth of twins.
  • For the health of the newborn and the mother, try to get the mother's aspiration index to gold or platinum.
  • If the tills don't work for you, you can check if your female sim is pregnant by trying to select "Try to have a baby" again. If you can do this, she is not pregnant.
  • Instead of a bed, you can also use bathtubs, cars, elevators, photo booths, dressing rooms, and other items. However, you will need to have the correct expansions for each location.
  • If your Sim is pregnant, the next day (on day one), they will always run to the bathroom due to morning sickness. You will also notice a cartoon with a pacifier over your head with a question mark. This is because the sim is wondering if she is pregnant.
  • KEEP AN EYE OF YOUR PREGNANT SIM - it is very easy to forget about her, but this almost always leads to the death of both the sim and the baby. Use "maxmotives" to keep her always healthy.
  • If you have reached the maximum number of people residing in the house (8) before having a baby, no pregnancies can occur until one of the sims leaves.
  • Sims can't have multiple parts of course - but there are mods you can download that allow them.
  • If a sim is already pregnant, you will not be able to become pregnant again.

  Warnings

  • It is possible that your sim will not get pregnant at the first opportunity. If it doesn't, improve the relationship between the two and try again.
  • Only male sims can get pregnant from aliens.
