This article explains how to get all Eevee evolutions by playing Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Before you begin, make sure you have a copy of the Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum video game and a Nintendo 2DS, Dsi, or 3DS system. Also you should have already visited the city of Celadon located in the Kanto region.
Steps
Part 1 of 8: Obtain 7 Eevee Specimens
Step 1. Talk to Bill to get an Eevee specimen
After talking to Bill in the city of Amaranth City, he will head to his home, located in Goldenrod City, and you will have to go and find him again. When you meet him for the second time, Bill will hand you a specimen of Eevee that he can no longer deal with. Remember that you can only get one Eevee this way.
Step 2. Return to the city of Celadon City and go to the Rocket Arcade
The man next to the Rocket Arcade will tell you that one of the prizes up for grabs is an Eevee specimen.
Step 3. Purchase six Eevee specimens
If you haven't already accumulated enough money to buy all the specimens you need, first you will need to get all the money you need to purchase. To perform this last step, it will take you some time.
Alternatively, you can leave one Eevee and one Ditto at the Pokémon Day Care on Route 34 and retrieve the egg they will produce. A quick way to get the egg laid is to go back and forth from the Pokémon Day Care to the city and vice versa. This moment of the game can be a bit boring, so you can get distracted by watching television or listening to some music. The man who runs the Pokémon Day Care will call you as soon as the egg is laid and later when it hatches
Part 2 of 8: Evolving Eevee into Flareon
Step 1. Get a Fire Stone
You can get one by winning the Flycatcher race, talking to Bill's grandfather, or trading it with a friend. Alternatively, you can purchase it at the Pokéathlon Arena, but only on Sundays.
Step 2. Before using Firestone, always save your progress in the game
This is a very important step in case you don't like your new Flareon's stats.
Step 3. Use the Firestone on Eevee
Part 3 of 8: Evolving Eevee into Vaporeon
Step 1. Get a Pietraidrica
You can get one by talking to Bill's grandfather or by trading it with a friend. Alternatively, you can purchase it at the Pokéathlon Arena, but only on Wednesdays.
Step 2. Before using the Hydrestone, always save your progress in the game
This is a very important step in case you don't like the stats of your new Vaporeon.
Step 3. Use the Hydrestone on Eevee
Part 4 of 8: Evolving Eevee into Jolteon
Step 1. Get a Thunder Stone
You can get one by winning the Flycatcher race, talking to Bill's grandfather, trading it with a friend, or defeating one of the trainers you meet on Route 38. Alternatively, you can purchase it at the Pokéathlon Arena, but only on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays.

This is a very important step in case you don't like your new Jolteon's stats.
Step 3. Use the Thunder Stone on Eevee
Part 5 of 8: Evolving Eevee into Espeon
Step 1. Increase Eevee's friendship level
When she's maxed out, have Eevee move to the next level during the day. This will automatically evolve into Espeon.
- You can increase Eevee's friendship level by having him fight alongside your team of Pokémon (but prevent him from losing too many health points), keeping him within your team, having him eat berries and proteins, and taking him to the hairdresser or the National Park.
- You can get a rough idea of Eevee's level of affection by talking to a woman who lives in Goldenrod City. The woman is north of the Bike Shop on the east side of town. If the woman says something like "She looks very happy! She must love you very much", it means that your Eevee is ready to evolve.
- Interact with Eevee only between 4am and 8pm. If you do not respect the indicated times, your Eevee will evolve into Umbreon.
Step 2. Raise Eevee's experience level between 4:00 and 20:00
When Eevee's friendship level reaches its maximum value, use it in fights so that she can level up.
When Eevee levels up, between 4:00 and 20:00, she will automatically evolve into Espeon
Part 6 of 8: Evolving Eevee into Umbreon
Step 1. Increase Eevee's friendship level

Part 7 of 8: Evolving Eevee into Leafeon
Step 1. Trade an Eevee by playing Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum

In an unspecified point of the forest you will find a boulder covered with moss. Make sure your Eevee is selected for combat before continuing.
Step 3. Level up Eevee while she is on the lawn surrounding the mossy boulder
After choosing Eevee as your first Pokémon to fight, walk on the grass surrounding the boulder until you encounter a wild Pokémon to make Eevee fight.
When Eevee levels up she will automatically evolve into Leafeon
Step 4. At this point, all you have to do is bring the specimen of Leafeon into your game of Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver, exchanging it again
Part 8 of 8: Evolving Eevee into Glaceon
Step 1. Trade an Eevee by playing Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum
Step 2. Go to Route 217 near the snowstorm playing Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum
Route 217 is located near the town of Nevepoli.
Step 3. Look for the Ice Rock
It is a boulder covered with snow and ice.
Step 4. Level up Eevee while she is on the snow cover surrounding the Ice Rock
After choosing Eevee as your first Pokémon for combat, walk across the snowy ground surrounding the frozen boulder until you encounter a wild Pokémon to let Eevee fight. When Eevee levels up she will automatically evolve into Glaceon.
Step 5. At this point, all you have to do is bring the Glaceon specimen into your Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver game, exchanging it again
Advice
- Get your Eevee up to level 30 as it will be easier to train.
- If one of the Pokémon on your team has the "Magma Shield" or "Flame Body" ability, the eggs will hatch faster.
