This is a quick and easy guide to catching Kyurem, a very powerful and coveted Ice Legendary Pokemon. Capturing this Pokemon is essential for completing the Pokedex and for battles in general, as it is one of the most powerful and loyal allies you can find.
These directions also apply to Pokemon White.
Steps
Step 1. Gain access to Stronghold by completing the Pokemon League
You'll find it east of Opelucid City, at the end of Route 12.
Step 2. Once you reach Stronghold, be sure to stock up on Poké Orbs and healing items, as the battle will be a tough one (Kyurem is level 75 after all)
Take the right exit towards Spiraria Town, via Route 13. (If you are coming from Spiraria, skip step 3). If you pass this road, skip step 4.
Step 3. When you reach Route 13, you will notice that it is small but quite intricate
Once there, go south (fight the trainer if you wish), go through the first part of tall grass, preferably on the right side to pick up an item. Then jump over the ridge and keep going until you reach the grass-free area. Turn left and go down the stairs, passing through the area of tall grass and continuing to keep the mountain to the right of your character. Turn left when you reach the end of the beach and walk up the furthest steps. After climbing them, continue to the Giant Pit. Make sure you use HM Force to move the boulder and be able to quickly return to this area.
Step 4. If you started this event from Spiraria, your path will be much simpler
You will need to get to Route 13 (after purchasing supplies of course), go up the stairs and follow the beach, staying as far right as possible (WITHOUT turning at the end of the second set of steps to go down the very narrow sand alley, or you will return to the beginning of the route 13). You will reach some steps and you can continue (again make sure to use Force to move the boulder).
Step 5. Once you have followed these directions, you will arrive at the Giant Pit
It may seem like a very simple area at first, but many challenges await you. First you will need to enter the cave in the center of the entrance. Once inside you will find yourself in a dark room. You can collect items if you wish (there are a couple of rare ones in the Pit), but the main goal is to reach Kyurem. First you will need to go around the cave and reach the exit (MN Surf is required at this point, so make sure you have a Pokemon that can use this move). Once you get out, you will go back outdoors.
Step 6. You will be faced with an extremely large and complex maze
The goal is to reach the center, which is an area similar to a pond. It may seem impossible at first, but there is a way. The easiest way to do this (without picking up all the items) is to proceed as far north as possible from the entrance, then west, then south, then east, finally north again (make sure you don't jump over the jumps you get). report to the areas you have already traveled). At this point you will have to walk through a long area of tall grass and then you will see the pond. Reach it and you will hear a roar that will shake the earth.
Step 7. After the sound, the ground will be covered with snow (the roar came from Kyurem, which started snowing)
Now you have the chance to reach the exit and the final cave, inside which Kyurem awaits you. Proceed through the exit.
Step 8. Once inside the cave, getting to Kyurem is easy
Approach him and press A. Like all legendaries, he will roar and the battle will begin.
Step 9. Once you have captured Kyurem, exit the cave and you will see that all the snow has disappeared
Then proceed east and south to get out more quickly.
