Candy Crush Saga is a fairly complex game in itself, but Level 165 is particularly challenging. Not only do you have to collect oodles of blue candies to fulfill the objective, but you also have to fight against time bombs and the ubiquitous chocolate. As if that weren't enough, this is one of the few levels where all six colors are present, which makes the already crowded screen even more lively. Steps
Step 1. Get rid of the bombs ASAP
In Level 165 the bombs explode after 7 moves if not eliminated. A bomb exploding makes you lose the level immediately, regardless of anything else. Since bombs are so dangerous, taking them out must be your priority.
The bombs are colored and can be eliminated by including them in combinations
Step 2. Get rid of the chocolate
Ignore the goal for a moment and focus on clearing some of the chocolate blocking the screen. The chocolate expands automatically, taking up spaces that could be used by the candy. If you let the chocolate expand uncontrollably, you will soon run out of space on the screen. You can eliminate the chocolate by making combinations adjacent to a square where the chocolate is.
- Eliminating the chocolate from the top of the screen is a crucial aspect. If the top of the screen is blocked, you will not be able to get new candies.
- Whenever you make a move that doesn't remove some chocolate, a new square will appear.
- It doesn't matter if the chocolate is eliminated by direct or indirect moves; the important thing is to make room for the candies.
- Striped candies and wrapped candies are great for eliminating large amounts of chocolate in a single move.
Step 3. Collect the blue candies
The yellow and green candy collection goal almost always completes automatically with dropping new candies and other indirect moves. This means that blue candies take priority, as you have to collect so many of them.
When there are few blue candies left, do combos that eliminate the other candies. Colored bombs are very useful for eliminating unwanted colored candies, leaving more room for blue ones
Step 4. Make the wrapped candies
The wrapped candies (which have special powers) will be very useful to pass this level. When making special candies, try to save them to use on blue candies. This will help you complete the goal much faster.
You can create wrapped candies by forming combinations of 5 "L" or "T" shaped candies
Step 5. Keep trying
Each splash screen is random and there is a chance to win even with an unfavorable splash screen. Some screens are impossible, simply because there aren't enough blue candies to complete the goal. Reloading the screen can be useful to have a more favorable initial situation.
