Candy Crush Saga level 77 can be quite difficult, if you are not already an experienced player. You have to clear all the jellies and get 50,000 points in just 25 moves to pass this level. Also, all the jellies are located in the middle section, which is not connected to the rest of the screen and also contains the chocolate, which expands after each move if it is not eliminated … This forces players to think creatively, in an effort to eliminate. indirectly jelly through special candies within the move limit.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Using Winning Strategies
Step 1. Prioritize vertical striped candies
The biggest difficulty with this level is that the spaces you have the most control over (the ones at the top and bottom of the screen) aren't where the jellies are. Since the middle section is not connected to the rest of the screen, you have to use the top and bottom sections to your advantage to create vertical striped candies whenever you get the chance.
- Keep in mind that vertical striped candies are created by lining up four of the same candies horizontally. Making vertical combinations of four candies would get you horizontally striped candies, which aren't very useful in this level, because they don't hit the middle section.
- Note that there are nine spaces in the middle section, each containing two-layered jelly. So there are 18 jellies in total to get rid of. Since you only have 25 moves available, if you only used vertical striped candies you would have to use one in every round except 7 (and to top it all, in the correct boxes!). This isn't realistic - it's much easier to win if you're trying to get some super combos.
Step 2. Use striped and wrapped candy combos to hit the midsection
Combinations of striped and wrapped candy are the most useful tool in this level. These combos eliminate three rows and three columns arranged in a large "intersection", which means they can hit three spaces at a time containing jelly. Unfortunately, it can take a lot of moves to make one of these combos, so don't waste moves trying to make one if you don't have enough moves.
- One of best Possible moves you can do in this level is to activate a striped / wrapped candy combo on the right side of the screen at the start of the turn. If you can align it correctly, you can clear the chocolate and the locked box from the licorice in one go. Not bad!
- Keep in mind that striped / wrapped candy combos activate on the space you trade to, not the first you touch.
Step 3. If possible, focus on the chocolate first
The chocolate starting from the right side of the middle section is your main enemy in this level. If you don't defeat him as soon as possible he can quickly devour the middle section, making it very difficult for you to pass the level. For this reason, it's best to get rid of the chocolate with vertical striped candies or a striped / wrapped candy combo as soon as possible.
- Try to get rid of the chocolate before the licorice block. While it is possible to eliminate the chocolate after it has started to spread, this is almost always more difficult and requires more moves.
- Remember that you don't necessarily have to hit the chocolate directly: by eliminating a candy (but not a licorice, etc.) adjacent to the chocolate, you will also eliminate the latter.
Step 4. Don't forget to try to make combinations in the middle section
While it's very useful to try to create vertical striped candy and striped / wrapped candy combos at the bottom and top of the screen, don't forget that sometimes you'll also be able to create combinations in the middle section. In fact, in terms of achieving the goal, getting a simple three-way combo in the middle section has the same effect as a striped / wrapped candy combo (and you only need one move to do it!). So you will always have to keep an eye on the middle section before each move, to see if you can make combinations there before moving on to the other sections.
In fact, if you can make two combinations of three with one move (which is rare but absolutely possible), you can eliminate six jellies in one go. That's double what you'd get with a striped / wrapped candy combo and far fewer moves, so don't miss this opportunity
Step 5. Use color bombs if many jelly boxes contain candies of the same color
Color bombs, which are created by lining up five identical candies, can be useful in some situations, but they are not essential in this level, so think about it before creating them. If you see that you can create one and use it to eliminate a color that appears frequently in the middle section in the next move, it's probably worth it.
On the other hand, if you have to spend a lot of moves to create a color bomb and use it effectively, it's best to look for alternative moves
Step 6. If you don't have any better moves to make, take out the candies at the bottom of the screen
If you don't have any useful moves, it's almost always best to clear candy at the bottom of the screen instead of at the top. This is because, when you take out candies in the lower part, many more of them move, increasing the chance of getting a chain reaction. This increases the chances of getting a special candy (and even if you don't, you'll still get more points from the chain reaction).
Part 2 of 3: Know What to Avoid
Step 1. Don't waste time trying to get new candy in the middle section
It is important to note that there are no teleportation portals either above or below any square in the middle section; this means that deleting candies outside of that section will have no effect on the candies there. The only way to get new candies in the middle section is to eliminate those present directly or through vertical striped candies, striped / wrapped candy combos, or two-striped candy combos.
Step 2. Do not use wrapped candies except to create combos with striped candies
By themselves, the wrapped candies are useless in this level - their blast radius is not large enough to reach the middle section where the jelly and chocolate are located. Therefore, don't waste moves to create them, unless you can use them in a combo with a striped candy or to activate a vertical striped candy.
However, in the rare event that you manage to get a combo of two wrapped candies, use it! The large blast radius should hit a good portion of the midsection at least once (unless the combo is activated at the bottom of the screen)
Step 3. Don't let the chocolate spread uncontrollably
When the chocolate has spread into the middle section it can be very difficult to complete the level, as this essentially adds another layer that you need to get rid of before you can remove the jelly. Your best bet is to keep the chocolate from spreading until you have a vertical striped candy or two to eliminate it with.
This means you don't have to clear the locked box from the licorice before you're ready to clear the chocolate. You can get rid of the jelly on the left and you need to get rid of the chocolate on the right before hitting the licorice; when this has been eliminated, you will need to be ready to eliminate the chocolate immediately or you may find yourself in a very difficult situation
Step 4. Don't forget the point limit
There is nothing worse than getting rid of all the jelly but not passing the level just because you haven't earned enough points. Even if the first star marker is located low enough on the scoreboard, it is still possible to finish the level without having reached the 50,000 points required to pass it, so pay attention to the points you earn over the course of the game.
Remember that since you get bonus points for every move left at the end of the level, it is always better to finish early than to waste moves trying to make big combos
Part 3 of 3: Using Workarounds
The tips in this section are not about how to play, but are generally not considered cheating. You can ignore this section if you don't want to change your gaming experience.
Step 1. Reset the splash screen until you get a favorable one
This trick works for the mobile version of the game, not the browser version. If you start the level and don't see any useful moves, stop. Don't make any moves and tap the "Back" button on your device and, if asked if you really want to quit, tap "Yes". You should return to the map screen. Re-enter the level and you'll have a different starting layout, but you'll still have the same number of lives! Use this trick to your advantage by resetting until you get a favorable starting arrangement at the start of the level (such as a good starting place to immediately create a vertical striped candy on the right of the screen).
To clarify: You can reset the screen by exiting the level without making any moves and re-entering it. This doesn't cost lives. However, if you've made even one move, it will cost you a lifetime to reset the level
Step 2. Consider starting with a previously earned booster
If you use the Daily Booster Wheel, you probably have some boosters aside. In level 77 you can use three of them: striped and wrapped candies, jelly fish and color bomb. Each of them will give you a benefit - read below for more information.
- Striped and Wrapped Candy: If you get a vertical striped candy you can use it to hit the middle section. If the two candies end up close together, you can combine them to make a very useful combo.
- Jelly fish: presumably the best choice for this level. The jelly fish automatically deletes three boxes of jelly at random. As the boxes with the jelly are quite difficult to reach in this level, this can be very useful. A good strategy is to keep the booster until the end of the level, so that you are more likely to hit the boxes you want.
- Color Bomb: Read the information provided above. This can be useful if there are many candies of the same color in the middle section.
Step 3. Watch the game videos for level 77
It is one thing to read how to pass level 77, but seeing these tips and tricks applied can make it much easier to understand how to do it. Fortunately, there are dozens of helpful videos on the net with tips for getting through level 77 (and pretty much any other difficult level in Candy Crush Saga).
It's easy to find one of these videos on YouTube and other streaming sites
Advice
- Be patient when trying to pass this level. Much of your success will be determined by the assortment of candy you get, which you have no way of controlling.
- In the mobile version of Candy Crush you can restore your lives by putting the clock forward a few hours when you run out of them. Don't forget to reset the clock when you stop playing!
- If you want to cheat, it's not hard to get around the five life limit in Candy Crush. Simply launch the game on your browser and open it several times in different tabs. When you run out of lives in one tab, you should have already recovered them in the others. It is very easy to get 20, 30 or more lives this way.
