If you've just changed your Facebook password, it may be difficult to reestablish the connection between your account and Candy Crush. Specifically, an error message may appear on Candy Crush saying: "We're sorry, but it is not possible to access the Kingdom at the moment". If you can't connect, you may want to try one of the following methods.
Please note: for some years now, the connection between the Candy Crush App and the Facebook account has been a problem that afflicts users. This is an issue that has only been fixed occasionally by programmers only to re-emerge later. The following methods may help you reconnect, but may not be sufficient to resolve the issue until the game's programmers have fixed the issue.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Connect from Computer
Step 1. Uninstall the Candy Crush App on your mobile
On iOS, press and hold the Candy Crush Saga icon until it begins to wobble, then press the "x" button that appears on the icon. On Android, open the Settings menu, select the Applications section, find Candy Crush Saga, then select "Uninstall".
Since your progress in the game is tied to your Facebook account, don't worry about losing your achievements. You will only lose the progress achieved in the mobile app from the moment of disconnection
Step 2. Reinstall the App
Once you have uninstalled the App, open your device's App store, then download and reinstall Candy Crush Saga. Do not start the application for now.
Step 3. Open Facebook on your computer
Open your browser and connect to the Facebook site. Enter your credentials.
Step 4. Open the Candy Crush Saga App
Access the application from the menu bar on the left of the Facebook page. Candy Crush Saga should appear on the list. If not, look for it in the search bar at the top of the page.
Step 5. Click on "Play from Phone"
You will find this option on the lower left corner once the game has loaded. Candy Crush Saga will then be reconnected to your Facebook account and the progress made on your mobile will synchronize with the progress made on Facebook.
Method 2 of 2: Connect by Mobile
Step 1. Uninstall Candy Crush from your mobile
Permanently delete the App. Don't worry, your progress is safe since your data is entered in Facebook.
Step 2. Download and reinstall the Candy Crush App
Enter the App store of your mobile and download the game again.
Step 3. Uninstall the Facebook App from your device
Permanently delete the App from your mobile.
Step 4. Download and reinstall the Facebook App
Enter the App store and download the Facebook App again.
Step 5. Enter your Facebook credentials
Once you have downloaded the application, launch Facebook and log into your account by entering your credentials.
Once in Facebook, go back to the mobile home screen, but don't log out of Facebook
Step 6. Launch Candy Crush
Click on the Candy Crush icon you have on your mobile screen.
Step 7. Connect to Facebook
On the Candy Crush home page, click on the "Connect!" Button. You should now be able to pick up where you left off.
