Nintendo's Wii console streams movies and TV shows from existing Netflix accounts. Once the Netflix account is linked to the Wii Netflix channel, it will use the same account until it is deleted. If you want to replace your Netflix account with a new one, you will need to delete the pre-existing data. Since last fall, you can choose to use Netflix "Profiles" to manage a single Netflix profile, even if you have separate accounts for each user. This option should be available in autumn 2013.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Method 1: Delete the old account
Step 1. Turn on the Wii console
Step 2. Scroll to the Wii home screen
Select the Wii Options icon in the lower left corner.
Step 3. From the menu choose "Data Management"
Step 4. Select "Save data"
Step 5. Click "Wii"
Step 6. Look at the list of options
Select the Netflix Channel option. It should be a red button with the capital letter "N".
Step 7. Choose "Delete"

Step 8. Look for other Netflix Channel data groups in the data management section
There could be 2 or 3.
Step 9. Return to the Wii main screen
From the list of icons, select Netflix Channel.
Step 10. Wait for the instruction "Are you a Netflix member?

Step 11. Write down the activation code
To activate Wii on your account, go to Netflix.com/activate.
- This method is ideal for those who constantly change their Netflix account with the Wii.
- If you want to switch between accounts, it would be good to set up separate profiles on a single Netflix account, as described in the second method.
Method 2 of 2: Method 2: Using Netflix Profiles to Manage Accounts
Step 1. Log into your Netflix account on your computer
From September or October 2013 it should be possible to access profiles on the Wii; you can, however, configure the profiles feature, and it will work if the Netflix Channel is updated to support them
Step 2. When you log in, look for the pop-up menu "Who's watching?
. This should appear automatically every time you log into your Netflix account.
Step 3. Choose "Add Profile" to create an additional profile to put in your preferences
The person whose name is on the account should already have a profile
Step 4. Type the person's name
- Check the box that says "12 and under", in case a child uses this account.
- Add other profiles to separate preferences, for up to 5 users.
Step 5. Access Netflix on Apple TV, iPad, iPod, PlayStation console or other console
- Choose the profile from the list of profiles you created. Netflix will begin recording your preferences and suggesting choices based on your history.
- It will be like logging into a new account, without being prompted to set up additional plans or pay extra.
