In order to use WhatsApp and all its features, you need to submit your mobile number to a verification process. This is a quick procedure that involves entering the phone number and a confirmation code. Note: you cannot verify a mobile number other than yours, also the phone must be enabled to receive calls and SMS.

Method 1 of 2: iPhone or iPad

Step 1. Launch the WhatsApp app

Step 2. Tap Agree & Continue

It is located at the bottom of the screen.

If this is the first time you use WhatsApp on your device, you will be prompted to allow the app to access the camera, microphone, contacts, etc. Tap Allow

The country where your phone number was issued should appear right above the number field.

If the listed country is not correct, tap the name that appears and then choose the right one from those listed

Do not put zeros before the number

A control code will be sent via SMS.

If you do not perform any procedure, you will receive an automatic phone call from WhatsApp that tells you the six-digit code
