Adding fitness and exercise to your daily routine is great for staying healthy, especially if you make it a habit. Nonetheless, with all the commitments you have, it can seem difficult to find the time to fit it into an agenda full of things to do. Either way, by having clear goals and the right mindset, you can make some changes to get it right. Step 1. Determine a specific time to train
You can stick to a routine if you set specific times for physical activity each day. Without a structured organization, you will be more likely to fall short of your commitment.
- Choose the time based on daily commitments. For example, if you join a gym that is close to your workplace, you can work out early in the morning, before going to the office, or in the evening, when you go out.
- Set aside at least 20 minutes a day to play sports. While the time spent on fitness and exercise may vary depending on the activities you engage in, at least 20 minutes of vigorous physical activity (such as running, swimming, or basketball) is required for optimal training.
Step 2. Set goals
In most cases, they will force you to follow a routine in order to achieve them. For example, if your goal is to lose a certain amount of pounds over the course of a certain amount of time, you will likely feel prompted to constantly move every day to reach the finish line.

Step 5. Prepare your equipment in advance
This will allow you to train without wasting time finding everything you need. Getting organized will come in handy if you have an extremely busy schedule.
Pack your gym bag every night so it's ready the next day. Store the equipment you need in the car or in a sports center locker you frequent
Step 6. Take breaks when you need them
If you train every day, even when you are particularly tired or in pain, you may start to hate sports and lose motivation.
Allow your body to rest and recover one or two days a week. If you feel guilty about missing a workout, or want to stick to the routine even when you're tired, do a lighter activity, like housework or a walk around your neighborhood
