This article explains how to remove a user from your WeChat contact list using an Android device.
Steps
Step 1. Open WeChat
The icon looks like two white speech bubbles on a green background. It is usually found in the app menu or on the Home screen.
Step 2. Click on Contacts
It's the second icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Tap on the name of the person you want to delete
This will open your profile.
If you're having trouble finding the right user, tap on the magnifying glass at the top of the screen to search for their name
Step 4. Click on ⁝
This button is located in the upper right corner of the profile.
Step 5. Click on Delete
A confirmation message will appear to notify you that deleting the contact will also result in the deletion of your past conversations.
Step 6. Press Delete to confirm
The selected user will then be removed from your WeChat contact list.
