This article explains how to disable one of the keyboards installed on an Android phone or tablet.
Steps

Step 1. Open the "Settings" of the Android device

it is usually found in the application menu. You can also find it in the notification bar.

Step 2. Scroll down and select Language and input
This option can be found in the section titled "Personal".

Step 3. Select Virtual Keyboard
This option is found in the section titled "Keyboard and Input Methods".

Step 4. Click on Manage keyboards
This option is at the bottom of the list.

Step 5. Swipe on the selector associated with the keyboard you want to disable
Once the switch has turned gray, the keyboard will stop being active. You can disable any keyboard on the list using this method.
