There are many ways to show affection to your parents, and not just in words … but in a sincere way.
Steps
Step 1. Make a portrait of them
In pencil or in color, it will always remain a small treasure for them.
Step 2. Write a letter
Spend some time jotting down some thoughts.
Step 3. Keep your room tidy
Even if it's a domestic affair, it will show Mom and Dad that you know how to take care of it.
Step 4. Make them a dinner
Pasta with butter and tuna for a second will also be fine, after all it's something you do so they have a moment of pause. If you are younger, get an older brother to help you in the kitchen.
Step 5. Take care of your stuff
It will show that you appreciate them and the house you live in together. Do the chores. Your parents will love that you vacuum without being asked, or that you do the dishes when you get up in the morning.
Step 6. Don't make yourself repeat things twice
Do them as soon as they ask you.
Step 7. Walk the dog and take care of the animals you keep in the house
Step 8. Communicate your love for them often
Step 9. Be nice to your brothers
Step 10. If you have a job, you could take them to a movie or a pizza one night
Step 11. Probably the best way to show your affection is to never lie, really never
This will let them know that you not only love them, but that you trust and respect them.
Step 12. Watch a movie with your mom from time to time, or go to a game with your dad, simply to show that you care about them and want to have them around
Step 13. If you do something wrong, apologize to them - and do it sincerely
They will know you are sorry and will be more understanding. You could do something to be forgiven, such as writing a letter or drawing a picture. Even simply saying you're sorry will show all your affection.
Step 14. And understand that it doesn't really matter to say I Love You, but how it shows

- Hugs speak for words. Children's hugs are great.
- Tell them you love them without expecting anything in return.
- Don't say you love them just to get something.
- Evenings spent playing with the family are perfect for joking around and spending precious time all together.
- Going out for ice cream and chatting is a good idea to take a break. Everyone talks about their day and they share special moments.
- Really respect them. You won't need to prove anything, it will be obvious.
