Have you dyed your hair black, but the result doesn't meet your expectations? You've had black hair for a while and now want to switch to brown? Unfortunately, if you don't remove or lighten the black tint first, you can't just do that brunette. Once you have removed it, you can choose the shade of brown you want and proceed. Whether you've just dyed your hair or have been waiting for a long time, there are a few methods you can try to go from black to brown.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Remove the Tint with Shampoo
Step 1. Buy the right products
There are two types of shampoos that will help you remove the dye from your hair. Lightening shampoos are rich in color-fading ingredients, and anti-dandruff shampoos also help eliminate the dye. These products allow you to download the color from the hair, so that it regains its original shade. You can also buy a non-specific conditioner for dyed hair.
