The Sims 3 game allows you to play the music you want during the game via the Custom Music Station on the Sims radio. Read on to know how to do it.
Steps
Step 1. Decide which songs to add to the game and organize them
Make sure they are all in MP3.
Step 2. Copy your chosen songs to a folder, such as Documents to save time
Make sure you copy them - don't move them - otherwise the music will disappear from the source folder.
Step 3. Find the Custom Music folder in Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 3> Custom Music
Step 4. Move MP3s to that folder
Step 5. Now the songs you have selected will be used in the game
To access the music, have a Sim turn on the radio and choose "Custom Music" as the station.
Advice
Make sure the quality of MP3 files is below 320 bit rate
Warnings
- To disable custom music go to Program Files / TS3 / GameData / Shared / Nonpackaged / Custom Music and delete the songs you want.
- The remaining songs in the folder will always be available when you play. You will need to completely delete them from the folder.
