This article explains how to download previously purchased Audible audiobooks to an iPhone or iPad using the iOS application. You will first need to create an account and buy an audiobook before you can download it to your device.
Steps
Step 1. Open Audible
The application icon is represented by the white outline of an open book on an orange background. The first time you open Audible, you may be asked if you want to allow the application to access your music and video library. If so, tap "Ok".
You can download Audible from the App Store if you haven't already
Step 2. Tap Login and log into your account
Tap "Sign in", then "Sign in using your Amazon account". Enter the email address and password you associated with your Amazon account.
If you don't have an Amazon account, you'll first need to create one and then buy an audiobook in order to be able to download it to your device
Step 3. Tap the Library tab
It is the first tab at the bottom of the screen. The icon features four books on a shelf.
Step 4. Tap the Cloud tab at the top of the screen
It is located next to the "Device" tab. Audiobooks that you own but have not been downloaded to your device will be displayed.
Step 5. Tap an audiobook image that has a download symbol
If you see the download arrow in the lower right corner of the book cover, this means it can be downloaded. Tap the audiobook image to start the download.
